Gym Diary is an offline workout diary provided by Aria Software. It stores your workouts on your device. We do not receive your workout records, and the app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking services.
Information stored by the app
Gym Diary stores the information you enter, including exercise names, workout dates, sets, repetitions, weights, routines, and split settings. It uses this information to display your diary, suggest routines, and calculate your workout history and progress. The app also stores preferences and temporary editing state needed to operate.
This information is held in the app's storage on your device. Gym Diary does not request internet access or send your workout data to Aria Software. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Backups and device transfers
You can export and restore a backup using Android's file picker. You choose where the file is saved or opened, which may include a cloud storage provider. Exported backups contain your diary data in a readable JSON file; Gym Diary does not encrypt these files. Keep them somewhere you trust. Any provider you select handles those files under its own privacy policy.
Android system backup is enabled for Gym Diary. Depending on your device and settings, Android or your device manufacturer may back up app data to your backup account or transfer it to another device. These services operate under their providers' terms and privacy policies. Aria Software cannot access these backups. You can manage available backup options through your device and backup provider settings.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your diary stays in the app's local storage until you remove it. You can remove individual saved sets and exercises from your diary. To erase all local app data, use Android Settings to open Gym Diary's app information and select the option to clear its storage, or uninstall the app.
Clearing storage or uninstalling does not delete files you exported or copies held by a backup provider. Delete those separately through the relevant file manager or provider. A system backup may restore app data when you reinstall, depending on your settings.
Contacting us
If you email contact@ariasoftware.net, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and retain correspondence only as needed to handle it and meet applicable obligations. Our email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store email. Please avoid sending workout backups or other sensitive information unless needed for your enquiry.
You can use the same address for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us. We cannot view or delete diary data stored on your device or with your chosen backup provider.

This policy page is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. This page includes no analytics scripts, advertising, or embedded third-party content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data handling changes. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
